Jura, owned by Whyte & Mackay, is led by master distiller Richard Patterson. He creatively utilises American White Oak ex-bourbon barrels, along with ex-sherry and ex-red wine casks. The Jura 18-year-old expression, part of their core range, is aged in bourbon barrels and finished in red wine casks, resulting in a uniquely complex dram that stays true to the new Jura style, sweet and smoky.
